Multiple Room Renovation
Thurgarton
We had the absolute pleasure of working on this wonderful project, we designed and fit several rooms in the complete house renovation.
We worked on the kitchen, bar area, boot room, utility room, master bathroom, master en-suite, their little boys’ bathroom and the flooring in the house.
Have a look around below to have a peek at this beautiful project.
Kitchen
This kitchen is such a beautiful space, it’s got an open plan arrangement and within the room there is a seating area, bar area, living area and the kitchen. It also has beautiful sliding doors in their garden.
This was designed with a mixture of handleless and standard doors, there were large black handles, brushed brass profiles and push to open mechanisms. The tall units were painted in Farrow and Ball Skimming Stone, the island is in Farrow and Ball Durness Cliffs and the wall units are in a fluted oak. The worktop is one of our firm favourites and is the 20mm Cemento Matt, this was used on all worktops in this room and was beautifully waterfalled down the side of the island and the run of base units. The tap was the patinated brass Fusion tap from Quooker. The sink was a white ceramic undermounted 1.5 bowl from Clearwater. We added an antique bronze mirror splashback to add dimension to the room but also giving the client an opportunity to see their wonderful garden in the mirror whilst they are washing up.
There was an integrated dishwasher and tall fridge and tall freezer. The ovens were Samsung and the downdraft extractor induction hob were also Samsung.

Utility Room
The utility room was a lovely addition to the house, this is tucked away behind the kitchen so it can be discreetly hidden away on those busier days! This was designed, again, with the kitchen in mind, this was a mixture of handleless and push to open. The doors were painted in Farrow and Ball Skimming Stone and had brushed brass profiles. The worktop also matches the kitchen, it was the Cemento Matt. The wall units were the fluted oak we have featured around the house. There was a Clearwater undermounted ceramic sink and matt black pull out tap.
Bar
The Bar area is an absolutely stunning addition to the open plan kitchen area. This was handleless with the wall units being push to open, painted in Farrow and Ball Durness cliffs with a brushed brass profile to match the kitchen island. We added fluted wood panelling to the seating area, adding some texture. The worktop and the panelling framing the units was in a beautiful stone affect and was called Ares Versuvio. There was strip lighting added to this area making it really stand out. There were two CDA tall wine fridge’s framing the bar areas with the antique brass mirror splashback matching the kitchen.

Bootroom
The boot room was also a mixture of push to open and handleless with the profile again being in brushed brass. There was a mixture of closed and open storage so you can perfectly hide away the little messy bits and bobs. We left an area open within the furniture so the customer could add their own hanging area for coats and bags. This little area in the house is a very practical yet lovely area of this wonderful house.
Master Bathroom
The Main bathroom was a delight to design, we went a bit crazy in this room with the Ca Pieta Piaza Geo Perla Terrazzo affect tiles and the complimentary smaller white tiles. The furniture in this room was Calypso in the Selter range in Portland Stone. This room had some lovely brushed brass features, with the JTP EVO range featuring, there was their basin mixer with the designer handle and the bath tap with the designer handle. We went with the Wendover towel warmer in brushed brass to really make the brass in the room pop. The mirror was the beautiful simplistic Willow mirror from Hib. This bathroom had a D shaped bath installed to give lots of showering space to the modern electric shower.

Master En-suite
-
The Master Ensuite was super on trend with the scandi look. The vanity unit was the RAK Joy in Scandinavian oak, this was wall hung and there was a double basin unit. In this room we used JTPs VOS range in matt black, we had the basin mixers with the designer handles and the concealed thermostatic shower with the overhead to add that luxury.
-
The matt black continued in the room as we incorporated this on the towel warmer, the black profile on the shower screen and the TECE flush plate. The tiles were the beautiful Metropolis 60x60 in colour sand, perfectly complimented by the Northwood wood panel affect tile in the shower area.
2nd En-suite
The 2nd ensuite was a lovely shower room to add to the home. This room was lovely and warm with earthy tones in the form of the stone affect tiles. We had a wall hung WC and a wall hung green vanity unit. The tap and shower were JTPs VOS range in matt black, complimented by the Crittall affect shower screen.
